Alexandra's tale of her search for just the right recipe to cure her carb craving made me smile...

My notes --
- I substituted frozen blueberries (that the boys & I picked this summer).
- Next time, I think I'll increase the two cups of blueberries to 2 1/2 or even three cups...me likey blueberries!
- I like the bit of sweet crunch you get from sanding sugar on top of baked goods, so I substituted it for the granulated sugar, and generously sprinkled it on top.
- Good bake-ahead recipe -- I baked this Friday morning, let it cool completely before covering, then transported it to VT...it was fabulous Saturday morning for breakfast.
