The Tale of Three Jars

What I believe...
  • Every cloud has a silver lining.
  • Every life challenge eventually leads to a valuable life lesson.
  • And the glass is always 1/2 full.
But the last three days I have realized a disturbing trend in Weeksworld....the jar is always EMPTY!

Sunday morning - peanut butter
Monday afternoon - salsa
Tuesday morning - Nutella

What is it with this family of mine putting all these empty jars back in the fridge?!

Have they forgotten where the trash can is?
(Three feet to the right of the fridge, gang!)

Or is there some deeper meaning to all this emptiness? A message or warning from the cosmos?

Or is it just plain laziness?

Like one of my favorite bloggers, Tracy at Lost in Suburbia, who's lot in her family is toilet roll police, is mine to be the disposer of all that is empty in my fridge?

What's your Housewife/Mom role/peeve?

  1. I am the toilet seat and toilet flush police....why does no one feel the need to flush? I appreciate the green thinking on conserving flushes, but the judgement on when enough is enough leaves me baffled sometimes!
